Cancellation Policy:

Between time of registration and January 19:

Penalty $50


Between January 20 and February 18:

Penalty $250


Between February 19 and April 7:   

Penalty 50% of program fee (or deposit, whichever is greater)


After April 7: 

No refund


The program participant shall notify Travelogs International Inc., NOT the group leader, in writing of any cancellation. Any cancellations resulting in refunds must be made in writing to Travelogs International, 4909 Transit Road, Suite 3, Depew, NY 14043 or to sales@travelogsinternational.com. 


The amount of your refund will be determined by the postmark, fax, or email date of the written notice of cancellation. Refund checks or a refund to the credit card that was used for payment will be issued/made within four weeks of cancellation.


The Standard Participant Cancellation Policy is in effect REGARDLESS OF THE REASON FOR CANCELLATION, including disciplinary action taken by the school, unexpected illness, or cancellation of the entire group for any reason. Any non-refundable payments made by Travelogs International Inc. for the group are always non-refundable to program participants. Tickets for certain activities (theatre, sporting events, museums, historical sites, meal reservations, etc.) are non-refundable once purchased by Travelogs International Inc. The cost of any non-refundable payment or activity is added to any stated administrative fees. Neither Travelogs International Inc. nor the school/organization is financially responsible for any charges to program participants for cancelled trips due to Force Majeure. Force Majeure shall be defined as uncontrollable weather related events, natural disaster, fire, flood, general strike, war, armed conflict, terrorist attack, domestic/international pandemic or nuclear or chemical contamination, or domestic/international emergencies. In addition, Travelogs International Inc. shall charge a non-refundable administrative fee to each participant for work already performed on the group’s behalf by the time of cancellation. Those fees are determined by the final cost of the trip as well as the time of cancellation. A full explanation of administrative fees are explained on the Terms and Conditions page.

Depart Elma this morning for Gettysburg, PA. Meal/rest stops (individual’s expense) will be coordinated between the teacher chaperones and the bus driver.

Upon arrival, you’ll be at the Museum and Visitors Center where you’ll have time to explore the museum and view the film, “A New Birth of Freedom.”

You’ll then tour the Gettysburg Battlefield, led by a National Parks Service guide. Here you’ll learn about the events that took place during the battle as well as see the town itself, where major parts of the battle were fought.

You’ll have DINNER in Gettysburg.

Depart Gettysburg for your hotel and check in and remain for the evening.

BREAKFAST at the hotel.

Depart your hotel this morning for Arlington National Cemetery, where you will meet your guides, and view the Changing of the Guard ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. You will also see the Kennedy gravesites as well as the Challenger Memorial.

Depart Arlington for LUNCH at California Pizza Kitchen. Continue sightseeing this afternoon with visits to the Jefferson, FDR, and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorials as well as the National Portrait Gallery and the National Archives.

You’ll have dinner (individual’s expense) as directed by your guides and chaperones.

This evening you’ll visit the Lincoln, Korean, Vietnam, and World Warr II Memorials.

Return to your hotel following the tour and remain for the evening.

BREAKFAST at the hotel.

This morning your group will travel to Mt. Vernon, the former home of George Washington. Meet your guides and visit the Ford Orientation Center and Donald W. Reynolds Museum and Education Center at Mt. Vernon which will illuminate fascinating chapters of Washington's life in two state-of-the-art facilities.

Lunch (individual’s expense) at Mount Vernon.

Depart Mount Vernon for the U.S. Capitol Building where you’ll enjoy an interior tour (pending confirmation)as well as the Library of Congress.

You’ll then have DINNER before going to Ford’s Theatre to enjoy a performance of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Following the show, meet your motorcoaches and depart for your hotel and remain for the night.

BREAKFAST at the hotel.

Check out and depart the hotel for Washington D.C. You’ll have time this morning to visit the Smithsonian Museum complex. The Smithsonian buildings line the Washington Mall area, and you may visit the Natural History Museum, the Air & Space Museum, the American History Museum, or any one of the other museum buildings.

Depart for Elma this afternoon. Meal/rest stops (individual’s expense) will be coordinated between the teacher chaperones and the bus driver.
